The User Preferences form contains controls which let you customize the appearance of the program's inteface and the formatting of currency amounts.

Using the buttons at the foot of the form you can check the effect of your proposed changes before making them permanent:

After adjusting any of the controls on this form you have four choices:

Save as default

If you want to alter the program's normal settings click Save as default. The program will then remember the changes on subsequent occasions.

Apply

Click this to see your changes temporarily reflected in the program's interface.

OK

Click this to make your changes more permanent - but affecting the current session only.

Cancel

Clicking this button reverses the effect of Apply i.e. the changes to the interface are undone.
