When you place the mouse pointer over any program control a screen tip
pops up which describes its function. When you're familiar
with the program's controls you may prefer to suspend this default
behavior, by clearing the check box.
Show QuickHelp
QuickHelp is the slightly more detailed information which appears
in the panel at the foot of the main program form, describing the
control currently under the mouse pointer. In
the registered version of the program, clearing this checkbox will
remove this information
panel, and enlarge the table and chart areas.
Request confirmation of Budget changes
After a budget is rescaled, switching from the Rescale
Budget tab
to the Edit
Original Budget tab will
cause the rescaling changes to be permanently applied to the Original
Budget.
To avoid unintended changes, by
default, a dialog box appears to check for confirmation. If this
check box is cleared, no confirmation dialog box will appear,
and switching to edit mode will automatically cause the Original
Budget to be updated.
Save current table spacings as default
The widths of columns in the accounts table can be adjusted by
dragging the vertical lines in the top row. This may be necessary
to accommodate long account names, or particularly large figures in
the last column. These new widths can be saved as permanent settings by clicking this button.
Reset table spacings to original defaults
To instantly revert to the program's original table column widths click
this button.
Recently used file lists
Use these controls to set how many recently used files are displayed on
